When I saw all the large number of dedicated staff that were there to assist with the procedure, I could not believe it. There was a whole team that came out from nowhere and set up their stations with such professionalism. All this was for me. Then came Dr. Ross, completely relaxed and he made me feel so very calm. His professionalism and his description of the procedure made me feel relaxed and ready for the surgery. This procedure was so simple, so quick and so well done I am still in awe. I’ve now had 2 hair transplants in the past 15 years two different offices with my latest one with Dr Ross last September 2024.Before going to get an estimate from him I visited 3 other transplant providers here in San Diego. They all seemed to provide other cosmetic procedures and treatments besides the hair transplants. It appeared to me that hair transplanting was not their focus and that gave me pause. Dr Ross is a master at his craft. I went and saw multiple doctors mostly in the La jolla and beach areas. He was the last person I had a consult with and I almost didn’t go thinking I would pick one of the other ones. I’m so glad I did go to his consult and pick him. The recovery was super reasonable and I was out and about the very next day. Within about seven or eight days everything was as if it never happened in regards to recovery. I had too much hair loss, and I really appreciate how honest Dr. Ross was about getting too many grafts and it not looking good in the donor areas, and not being full on the top of the scalp either. It could have been thousands of dollars for him, but he said I would not have a full head of hair and to not proceed with the procedure. I definitely recommend Dr. Ross for anyone who is considering hair restoration. I booked a video consultation on a holiday through the website by mistake and he still made accommodations to see me on a day off. I was worried about coming off as inconsiderate by scheduling on a day off but I was put at ease at the beginning of the call since he was so friendly and nice. This was my first consultation doing something like this but I could tell he was giving me an honest, straightforward opinion when I voiced what my concerns with my hairline were. He recommended some medication adjustments and we decided to look into scheduling a surgery a few months later. The medication adjustment is working great and my hairline hasn’t really moved back and might even be slightly better than it was during our consultation. I’ve also started styling my hair a different way which has alleviated a lot of the insecurities I’d feel when looking in the mirror. I have had the hair transplant procedure done five times previously using the old method of taking a strip of hair from the back of my head, which left a big scar and the whole process was very painful. Dr. Brandon Ross made my recent hair transplant procedure the best yet, leaving no scar. He and his staff went to great lengths to make sure that I was comfortable, and the process was done correctly with minimal discomfort. I felt very satisfied with the results and glad that I went to him to have this done. Dr. Ross applied Anesthesia from the beginning of the procedure, and it mostly lasted throughout the entire process. Previous hair transplant sessions before Dr. Ross required the doctor to administer several refresh injections which made my experiences very painful. Dr. Ross made my last hair transplant experience a comfortable one and I felt very satisfied when leaving his office. Dr. Ross has a very nice, genuine and friendly staff working for him.

Excellent staff, very professional, I have had a procedure done last November 2019, and the results were phenomenal. On Dec 29, 2020, I returned for more of the same procedure to get a full crown of hair, I am sure that the results will be the same as my previous one. Highly recommend getting your hair transplant done with Dr. Ross. From start to finish, the experience was above and beyond my expectations and the results are transformative. I really like the fact that Dr. Ross is on the forefront of hair restoration technology. For example, prior to my surgery, I had several sessions of Alma TED treatments to help prepare my scalp for the grafts. What I like about TED is that it’s non-invasion and painless. I had a FUE procedure done with Dr. Ross last year in August(2019) and he added 2100 grafts about to my front hair line and the work has been amazing! The pain was minimal and I was at work the next day and back in the gym after a week. A year later my hair looks great and I no longer have to wear my hair a certain length or style to hide my receding hairline. Dr. Ross exceeded my expectations in all ways! I have just finished with a second procedure for the crown of my head and look forward to the results in the next upcoming months!

Had it done with him in 2013 and just did it again in 2020 I will only trust dr Ross and his staff because he is the best and Judy is awesome also talented team that knows what they are doing

I don’t write to many reviews but I have to this time. Dr. Brandon exceeded my expiations. I have done it before from another Dr with much less results. He is the real deal and I can’t say enough about the staff.

I went here after an initial procedure at a local Bosley in San Francisco. My experience there was just ok. My hairline was improved, but nothing like they promised. I won’t go into that here. Today is the first day after my procedure and the entire experience was as stark as day compared to night. All the folks at La Mesa Medical Hair (LMMH) arm warm, friendly, professional, and surprisingly fun! Just one of the many comparisons I can make was Bosley had several women in the background, sort of like minions quietly working on my separated hair and not making a peep. At LMMH, everyone, from the receptionist to the gals separating the hair seems vested in the procedure being as positive and friendly as possible. I cannot imagine a better overall experience. I know it’s early, but at this point I give them 5 stars and well worth the long trip from San Francisco. I hope to remember to check back w/ Yelp at the 6 & 12 month marks to follow up.

If you’re considering hair restoration this is the place! Dr. Ross is extremely knowledgeable and very personable. I was so impressed at my consultation that I booked that day. I had the FUE procedure and everything went very smoothly. Dr. Ross and his entire team were so professional and made everything easy and comfortable. Dr. Ross was actively involved in every part of the process and I appreciated knowing that his skill and all his experience would ensure that the end result would be great. I’m only three weeks out but everything is healing nicely and I am eager to see the results. I highly recommend.

I would like to thank Dr. Brandon Ross and his wonderful staff for the procedure from start to finish. I really cannot express myself in words but the outcome after a year is that I consider this a miracle.

Let me begin by saying this wasn’t the first time I had this procedure done, it was the first time at LMMHR. I had 5600 fue done by a Dr. who I used for touch up work on 1994. I used him again in 2109-2020. After all that work I wasn’t fully satisfied with the results. I came across Dr Brandon Ross and met with him one time, and was convinced he would fix my problem. July 12 2021 he did 2000 grafts in the frontal area and hair line. I’m excited to see the results. The Dr and staff by far were so fun to be around, and made the procedure by far the best ever. I had a great experience with Dr Ross and his staff. Dr Ross is very personable, and communicates very well. I had my procedure, 3000 FUE, back in September of 2020, and the results are very good. I highly recommend Dr Ross and La Mesa Hair restoration if you are considering the procedure.

Literally the best money I’ve ever spent. I couldn’t be happier with my results. I used to only wear hats and would dread doing anything formal where I couldn’t wear one. Now I walk around with 100% confidence knowing my hair looks good. It looks the way it’s supposed to look. The procedure itself it’s not bad at all. Of course there’s a bit of discomfort involved in the numbing process but I would do it all over again if I needed to. Dr. Ross is amazing. Great guy. And funny! I waited 6 months before writing this review. I am very very happy with the results. It looks very natural and I am no longer bald. Dr Ross did a great job and I would highly recommend him. I hope i never need another transplant, but if I do, it will definitely be with Dr. Ross.

My experience with Dr Ross and his team, has been great! I’ve done my first procedure about a year ago and now have done a 2nd one just to increase the density on my hairline. They are all great people and really fun to talk to. Prices are reasonable and they are honest. I’ve done several consultations at other locations and la mesa gave me their honest opinion on what I needed and never pressured me to committing unlike some place I had visited. Results has been great and highly recommend dr Ross and his team. Give them a call for a consultation, I promise you, you won’t regret it! This review is honest and not paid for! After suffering from traction alopecia and a receding hairline for over a decade, I had a consultation at this clinic. Dr. Ross is friendly, funny, honest, and professional. He was straight forward about my treatment plan, no sugar coating. His staff were warm and welcoming. I had the traditional FUT surgery on 6/16. Dr. Ross and his staff were very accommodating and made an uncomfortable procedure as comfortable as possible. Lunch and entertainment were provided. I felt genuinely cared for and taken care of. I highly recommend this clinic to those seeking hair restoration. Dr. Ross and his team are awesome!

I would say that I had moderate hair loss on the top of my crown and following Dr Ross’s hair restoration surgery, 3 months later, my crown was effectively covered with my hair and it looked natural! Not a single sole, including my wife, said it looked unnatural or fake. Many of my close friends wondered if I had lost weight, been going to the gym more etc. They all said I looked different but that I looked great! I give Brandon Ross MD and his staff 5 stars. They are professional, honest, and the procedure was relatively painless. The first week following the procedure is the toughest part, but once you get thru that part and you follow their instructions during recovery you will be happy with the procedure. Great 8k investment!

The reviews speak for themselves, Dr Ross and team are the best. From the initial consultation, which was done virtually, to the surgery day, they were nothing but kind and professional. Dr Ross is what you would picture as typical SoCal “chill” and injects humor into his work life which I appreciate. Well, it’s been 12 months since my procedure. And all I can say is WOW. 10’s across the board! I was very happy with the density I saw right after, 3 months in was happy. 6 months in really happy. 12 months I’m actually sporting a Fro. So money well spent. Very happy with results. Kudos!

If you’ve read Dr. Ross’ reviews, it is not hard to expect both a positive experience and a positive outcome. When I arrived for my consultation, I was immediately put at ease. There is no pretense in this office–just a friendly doctor and team who are each experts in what they do. It was not hard to trust Dr. Ross, given his down-to-earth personality, his knowledge of his area of practice, and his considerable record of results. I appreciated the “no pressure” and matter-of-fact approach he took–as he educated me and patiently answered all of my questions. The procedure day came, and I was with the team for over 8 hours. It was a true pleasure. Every last person was kind and caring… even fun! As others have said, Judy is simply amazing–beyond words, and made the day fly by. Recovery from FUE was no big deal; Dr. Ross was just a text away and immediately responsive to any question I posed. So how did it all turn out? I gotta say, that is the best part. You cannot argue with results. These people are successful at what they do… and I honestly would say this is the best investment in myself I’ve ever made. At 12 months, it was an absolute pleasure to go in and show them the transformation. And, upon seeing their pictures from a year prior, even I was shocked by the volume of hair I had grown, as well as the expert placement that this team intuitively knew how to produce.
